2010 U-15 Summer Overview
Eligibility. The U-15 teams are open to all players whose birth years are 1995 & later, players may not turn 15 before January 1, 2010.
Selection Process. Candidates for the U-15 teams may either be nominated by their school’s head lacrosse coach, be invited by a member of the Old North State staff or contact Old North State directly.
Team Membership. Old North State will field two U-15 teams (Orange, and Blue). To ensure adequate playing time, the teams will have 22 players on each team. In the practices and camps leading up to a tournament the Old North State staff will select the best available 22 players for the Orange Team and the next 22 best will comprise the Blue Team. Players may be moved, at the coaching staff’s discretion, from the Orange to the Blue team at any point during the summer schedule.
Team Commitment. Once selected to play for any of Old North State’s squads, players will be expected to attend all practices and tournaments as scheduled by their team. The team reserves the right to rescind an invitation at any time. As well, a player may be released from the program at any time if they, or their parents, exhibit behavior that is unsportsmanlike or become disciplinary distractions to the harmony of the team. Summer 2010 Cost and Fees.
Summer 2010 Membership Cost. Old NorthState summer 2010 membership cost is $400 per player. The cost includes the coaches' salaries, the player’s game uniform and practice field use fees. The uniform includes one pair of Old North State Game shorts and an OldNorthState numbered game reversible.
Summer 2010 Per event fees. There are additional fees for each event, not included with membership. In all cases, food, transportation, and lodging are not included.
Deposit. A $200 deposit is due once a player has accepted an invitation to play for one of Old North State’s squads. The remainder of the cost will be paid in April so that all players are paid in full. Additional tournament fees may be incurred as play dates are added.
